Changing Change is how a living being or structure adapts. It is in the combination of complex processes that we co-create real change that is sustainable, and self sustaining. By our willingness to enquire and explore in a chosen direction we shape the futures that will then unfold. We move towards what we inquire into - (David Cooperider) Complex acknowledges that what we are in relation to and with also is changing, rather than static as is so often how it is represented. Any small change may bring about major change, and any major change can be expected to trigger small changes that were not anticipated. They are dynamic, interactive, and once initiated, likely to generate outcomes other than those originally predicted or expected. Individuals, teams, organisations have unique capabilities to integrate both macro and micro changes that transform, and to do so very rapidly. We seek to enable and encourage the individuals and organisations that we work with to be open to what they may be capable of. Much individual and organisational frustration and inertia that we encounter is linked to inconsistency between the stated values, expectations of an organisation and what is experienced routinely by its members and its customers. We seek to approach Problems, Difficulties, and Crisis in ways that enable them to be rapidly resolved and adapted to. In understanding and resolving the particular issue,we also offer perspectives on the systemic linkages, that are vital to making transformational change to accessible, understood, and actioned. These systemic routes, and their maps are particular to the individual, team, or organisation, and are at the heart of developing non-dependent relationships, behaviours, and structures that are compatible with the well-being of the individual and organisation as they interact. We aim at simplicity and hope for truth. (Goodman).
