Coaching and Development In terms of Coaching, we centre on enabling individuals, teams, organisations, and those they work with to understand what they are capable of being and doing. We encourage the acknowledgment and sharing of what generates excitement, passionate and brilliant performance, especially in what may be regarded as mundane and routine activities. We seek to liberate innovation and creativity, and to weave them into the fabric of the day to day for the individual, the team, and organisation. We challenge deep assumptions concerning how and where innovation can take place, and are passionate in seeking to encourage individuals, teams, and organisations to explore for themselves, with their customers, and beyond. We seek to work within the spaces that are normal and routine for the client, to coach and develop in the context of what is happening live such that the outcomes are experienced as real and relevant, and grounded. Individual Coaching: Designing and actioning review with an individual of their development and skills with the aim of then connecting this with their colleagues, and others. We can provide access to a full range of highly experienced, qualified, specialists should this become appropriate. Individual coaching can as readily be for perceived high performers, as for those adjudged as problematic. Our experience is that such coaching leads to deep and significant learning and improvement for the individual and the organisation. Team Coaching: Working with the Team to establish a full understanding of how it works, and to co-develop the steps to be taken with them to deliver exceptional outcomes. We collaborate in the generation of what is appropriate for the team to learn, explore, and make its decisions. Each situation can be tailored to meet particular needs, and woven with other strands, giving flexibility and strength. Whole System Coaching: We offer frameworks and approaches that enable all the stake holders to fully understand one anothers needs and views, and to create a shared and deeply rooted view of the future for which they have real passion, and which makes sense. We work with dialogue and emergent processes to enable listening to much of what is smothered in the routine of meetings and boundary management. Customers: We work with frameworks that enable sustainable dialogue with those beyond the perceived boundary that are vital to understanding and shaping the future. These customers are as likely to be within the organisation as beyond. Alethia seeks to work from an appreciative perspective, to build upon what works in the present, and to affirm the expertise and knowledge that is often discarded and devalued. Even the most apparently chaotic individual, team or organisation has within it elements that have potential and renewed possibility, that can be restored to non-dependent well-being. That has been our experience, consistently. Alethia seeks to offer systemic linkages to the presenting problem. We work to ensure resolution of the problem, and to develop and share understanding of the underlying and repetitive factors that unless dealt with can be expected to resurface again, and again.
